Remember to...

Remember to....

Have a great Thanksgiving! Remember to take a moment and give thanks for the good and even the bad things...

I made a list of things I'm grateful for...

1. God and his unfailing love
2. My family
3. The job that God provided for my dad
4. School
5. Getting over fears
6. My home
7. Lenin the young boy I sponsor though World Vision
8. The kids from Sunday school
9. Good health
10.Finding my purpose

This year has had its up and downs, but I'm so grateful for the chances I've had to grow, learn, and achieve.

Robie House....

Robie House...

A month ago I received an email telling me that my Robie House picture had been short-listed for inclusion in the ninth edition of the Schmap Chicago Guide. If you've not heard of Schmap it's a website specializing in virtual maps for your cellphone or desktop. All I had to do was submit my photo, and whether it was picked or not they would email and let me know.
I sent my picture in and forgot all about it, until Sunday when I got an email back saying that my photo had in fact been chosen and it would be up on the website. I'm so excited, it makes me feel like a real photographer! You can checkout my photo here

8tracks??

music....
I'm a music enthusiast and whenever I get the chance to share musical gems with others, I jump at it. So you can imagine my joy when I found the 8tracks website. You can take your music, crate a mix and then share the mix with others, it sounded like fun and so I gave it a try and it's really fun. I made a mix of my current favs, so sit back and enjoy .

I've been....

City of light

Wow, I'm a horrible blogger I just realized I've not posted since May! I tend to forget about this little blog and then every once in a while I remember this save haven where I can express myself through pictures, words and the randomness that I call life. So I guess what I'm trying to say is I'm really sorry blogosphere for forgetting you.

I have a tendency to start something, but then I get bogged down by life or just stop doing anything because it becomes less important to me. I've been thinking about it and it's time to brake-away from my bad habits and start fresh. I'm not sure if I can do it, but I'm all about trying to be better at "Life." So I'm going to take it slow and see where this blogging thing goes and maybe the other things will fall into place, too.
