Snow and ice...

Its the most wonderful time of the year? Lately, Chicago has had a tremendous amount of snow in the last week and apparently we're getting more snow tonight! Don't get me wrong, I love this time of year, but right now I'm hating the snow and the cold, although it does make for some lovely pictures!

Handmade Christmas....

Every year, my sister and I make all our Christmas tree ornaments. And this year we used recycled magazines and cereal boxes to create all the ornaments.


My sister cut the birds out of cereal boxes and she also made the triangle ornaments.


I made the garland with the Free people magazines that I'd been saving for the last year and it took me a total of 18 hours to complete it (yes, that's right 18 hours!).

I can't believe its December already and that the year is almost over. We got our Christmas tree today, and every year my sister and I make all the ornaments for our tree, so I guess that means we need to get busy.
